There wasn't much feedback from Chardon's Reef this week but one angler who did well there was Jon Hall (below) from Brisbane. Jon dropped the pick there on Saturday and, using pilchard/squid bait combos, boated this nice 4.8kg snapper, a few small reefies and a mahi mahi. He was armed with an Ugly Stik and an Alvey offshore reel loaded with 25lb line.

Julianne Austin was fishing from the bank near the Noosa Yacht and rowing Club early on Wednesday morning when her live herring bait was monstered by this 1.5kg estuary cod. She was using a Shimano Estuary threadline combo.

The Noosaville Primary School held their 'Take a Prep Kid Fishing Day 2008' in the Woods Bays on Wednesday under the supervision of teacher Tim Day and, as you can see, they had a great time catching and releasing whiting and bream.

Local yak angler Bill 'Billybob' Watson launched from Main Beach and paddled out to to Sunshine Reef on Friday and, trolling a shallow diving Gold Bomber lure, boated three Spanish mackerel (average size 85cm) before heading for home.
