Blue Water Charters boats had some productive days on the water
this week with Snapper and Tuna being towards the top of the strike list. Caloundra angler Peter Dicks (right) nailed himself a nice 4kg 'Knobby' while on a three quarter day Cougar Too trip to Sunshine Reef on Thursday. He was kitted out with a Wilson Live Fibre rod and an Alvey 825C reel loaded with 30lb line. And Rob Chrzescijanski from Ipswich (below) got onto a 7kg Northern Bluefin Tuna while out at North Reef on Saturday's Cougar One charter to North Reef. A live Yakka was all that was needed to attract this hungry 'Longtail' and a bit of skill on his part was what it took to finish the job. Rob was armed with a Wilson Live Fibre rod and a Shimano TLD25 reel loaded with 30lb line. |
