As mentioned, the Barwon Banks produced some thumper snapper. Courtney Hallett and Trish McArthur (above) hit the jackpot out there while on a full day Cougar One charter last Monday with these 7kg+ 'Knobbies' being the standouts. And Alan from Tewantin (right) was out at North Reef on yesterday's three quarter day Cougar One charter when he jigged up this 4kg snapper on a Snap Back soft plastic. While Woody and his son Sam (below) boated these 5kg snapper and an 8.5kg cobia during an overnighter on Sunshine Reef on Saturday. They were using yakka and squid baits as their draw cards.
